We’re seeking a talented Licensing Service Analyst who will function as a primary point of contact for the business with the objective of providing analysis and reporting pertinent to agent licensing (end to end) on boarding and re-certification processes. Reporting to the Manager of Licensing Services, you will be responsible for administering our licensing database, working with HR, tech and business intelligence teams to design and support system integrations and produce reports that provide insight into GoHealth’s licensing strategy and areas of risk or opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to efficiently and accurately manage a complex and multi-step submission and tracking process in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the data integrity of GoHealth’s licensing and appointments databases to ensure updates are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manages account creation, deletion and day to day maintenance; provides audit reporting as needed
  • Provides and serves as point of contact for all licensing/appointment related deliverables from a variety of systems and databases
  • Accurately maintains principal, carrier, agent and initiative reports and audits systems continuously to ensure the integrity of our licensing/appointment data
  • Supports the timely processing of licenses/renewals by compiling data from various systems and providing insights
  • Collaborates with other teams to integrate licensing data to streamline reporting and workflows (HRIS, LMS, etc.)
  • Handles private and highly sensitive data in professional and delicate manner
  • Supports the Licensing Services team by providing daily/weekly reporting, work lists and audits of needed information to facilitate the on-boarding process
  • Assists in the coordination of carrier audits, including the review of previous audits to assess current regulatory exposure and review of corrective actions to ensure continued compliance
  • Collaborates with other colleagues and departments to share insights and lessons learned in the spirit of continuous improvement; identifies opportunities to enhance and streamline workflows and provides recommendations to management
  • Other duties/functions may be assigned, as required

Skills and Experience:

  • BS/BA or related work experience
  • 2+ years insurance licensing experience
  • Ability to interpret licensing/appointment business requirements and technical information to design/produce reports that summarize activity in various stages of the process
  • Knowledge and experience using business intelligence tools; experience with a licensing database (i.e. RegEd) required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel skills)
  • Structured execution and highly organized
  • Working knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to insurance licensing
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and recommend solutions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage deadlines independently and within a team environment
