What we need:

The Machine Learning Engineer will aid in the design and development of applications for Tackle AI’s Artificial Intelligence platform.

We are seeking a smart, driven individual who can learn new concepts quickly and is open to new ideas. This position requires you to be able to work independently but also ask for guidance and recommendations when necessary. You will be involved in all areas of development, including coding, testing and debugging highly complex server-based applications using the latest tools and technologies.

This position reports to the Senior Machine Learning Engineer

What You Will Do:

• Research and development of novel imaging, NLP, and classical data based machine learning algorithms for the product platform also utilize state of the art open source models
• Apply statistical and machine learning methods to analyze large, complex data sets
• Communicate highly technical results and methods clearly
• Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams
• Implement data pipelines

Your Skills:

Strong communication skills, analytics and decisive insight are critical for this position. You must be able to multi-task with efficiency and meet the expectations of both internal and external customers while working autonomously. Aptitude for learning and a passion for technology will be a strong fit for both the organization and development team. This is a cohesive environment, where focus and action are critical, and success is greatly rewarded as software development is key for our growth and the overall success of our business.

Required Experience:

• Experience developing, training, and evaluating deep-learning models using public deep learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, MMDetection, HuggingFace)
• AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda and ECS
• Experience developing, training, and evaluating classical machine/deep learning models, such as, SVMs, Random Forests, Gradient Boosting, CNN, ResNet, GANs, NLP, etc.
• Strong Python skills including multiprocessing and threading
• OO, design patterns, SOLID principles
• Git
• Linux
• Docker

Nice to haves:

• ML Ops
• Experience with gRPC
• CI/CD familiarity
• Have written API’s before
• Microservice Architecture

• Agile (SCRUM, Kanban)
• Familiar with CUDA and GPU computing
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and accelerated compute infrastructures
