Paro is seeking a Manager, Business Analytics & Strategy to lead and expand this function as we continue our rapid growth. Your objective is to supercharge the performance of every team at Paro through data access, analytical insights, and operational improvements.

What We Do:

We help growing companies gain confidence in their finances. Paro matches businesses with the highest vetted bookkeepers, accountants, financial analysts, and CFOs who provide remote, on-demand, hourly support when clients need it. We only accept 2% of applicants into our highly curated network of experts, so clients know they’re working with the best of the best.

Who you are:

• 5+ years experience working in analytical/strategic roles, ideally at a technology company
• Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment; personal experience scaling a company post-Series A would be great
• Proven track record of managing people and processes to execute against a roadmap
• Ability to work effectively across all key business functions (at Paro, these include: sales, marketing, client success, operations, product & engineering, finance)
• Possess advanced modeling skills using a variety of tools (Microsoft Excel is a must; Python or R would be beneficial but not required)
• Experience building out and utilizing components of a data analytics technology stack, most importantly BI tools like Looker (preferred) or Tableau
• Proficient in SQL and comfortable manipulating large data sets
• Familiarity with the finance and accounting functions of an organization is a plus

What you’ll do:

• Spearhead the definition of KPIs that track the health and effectiveness of each area of the organization
• Conduct analytical deep dives into the business, develop actionable insights, and manage implementation of solutions that fuel our growth
• Carve out a role as a thought leader and partner with the executive team to set our strategic roadmap
• Power our future fundraising efforts with a compelling story told through our data 
• Own and expand our data analytics stack, including Postgres, Stitch, and Looker
• Manage our Strategy Analyst and continue building a best-in-class analytics team as we scale
