Market Research Analyst- Healthcare
GoHealth’s Strategic Partnerships team is looking for a Market Research Analyst that will own the delivery of research and analysis related to the healthcare industry. You will translate findings into actionable insights that will enable GoHealth to deepen relationships with strategic partners and pursue new revenue and growth opportunities within the healthcare vertical. Due to the unprecedented situation of COVID-19, GoHealth has decided to protect current and future employees by managing business operations remotely. This includes interviewing new candidates, onboarding new hires and operating each day-to-day function. Following the resolution of COVID-19, the Market Research Analyst role may continue to operate remotely, with monthly visits to the Chicago office for in-person interaction with team members.
Responsibilities:
- Become the expert in the healthcare industry, with a focus on the Medicare market, identifying latest trends and understanding primary players within the space.
- Create a framework to deliver regular and project-based insights to key stakeholders, outlining research structure, timeline and deliverables.
- Provide thoughtful analyses of competitors’ and industry leaders’ products and services, market share, financials, and general strategies.
- Execute and deliver market research reports and analyses that help drive the strategic direction of GoHealth in the areas of Medicare health plan strategy, Medicare care delivery, Value Based Care, general Medicare market outlook and trends, and much more.
- Own the regular communication and presentation of market research reports to relevant stakeholders and executives to inform GoHealth on revenue opportunities and strategic roadmap.
Skills and Experience:
- BA or BS degree with at least 3-4 years of work experience, preferably with a market research agency or knowledge/thought leadership firm (Healthcare knowledge preferred)
- Understand foundational business concepts (e.g., EBITDA, market segmentation, revenue models) and the primary KPIs/levers associated with each.
- Interpret qualitative and quantitative information in order to develop relevant insights and determine business value.
- Research market trends utilizing various information services, search engines and business research tools.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects.
- Must have the ability to travel to the Chicago office. This role is open to remote candidates.
