The Processing Analyst is responsible for maintaining, improving and investigating the fidelity of card network processing data for the technically and operationally complex traditional processor and card linked offer (CLO) partnerships. In this role, you must be a team player, be dedicated to meeting deliverables on time, work effectively on cross-functional projects, and be able to learn new technologies quickly.

This role reports to the Director of Client Onboarding

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze credit card processing information with tools such as Salesforce Lightning, Micro Strategy, SQL, and Excel.
  • Oversee technically and operationally complex credit card processing environments to ensure they are aligned, and properly tracking to the designated SLA; troubleshoot network health issues.
  • Provide analytical insight on projects and their effect to the business at large.
  • Work cross functionally with partner, data science, operational and support teams.
  • Conduct research when issues arise regarding member transaction data.
  • Pursue best practices for management of card processing including compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 3 years related experience (business analyst, operations analyst, or a credit card processing environment)
  • Banking or credit card processing industry background is preferred but not required.
  • Critical & analytical thinking – enjoy working with numbers to find patterns and insights into card linked offer data.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, and Outlook), Salesforce Lightening
  • SQL and Python experience is helpful but not required
  • Ability to navigate databases and use Excel as an analytical tool (Vlook ups, etc,)
  • Ability to understand, at a high level, outside partner applications.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized, flexible, self-motivated, and willing to learn and accept challenges.
  • Thrive in fast paced and constantly changing work environment.
  • Exhibit an established track record of delivering results on time.
  • Responsive to the needs of the department and can tackle various responsibilities.
  • High regard for industry compliance and maintaining and safeguarding confidential information.
