What You’ll Do:
- Create custom research reports for broadcast and research clients
- Support live broadcasts with research assistance
- Handle statistical requests from clients with accurate and timely responses
- Write SQL scripts to query the STATS’ proprietary database
- Apply internal research tools to generate compelling statistical storylines
- Use software tools to create data visualizations
- Contribute to group projects for big events
- Regularly work nights and/or weekends
What You’ll Bring:
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other analytical field
- A strong familiarity with and interest in professional/college sports
- Ability to analyze sports statistics and present them creatively for use in a broadcast environment
- Knowledge or experience in SQL / Oracle database scripting
- Ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere
- Ability to produce error-free work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in statistical research and analysis in the sports field
- Experience in sports television production
- Experience with PL/SQL coding
- Experience with Tableau data visualization software
- Experience with Photoshop
- Experience with Atlassian suite of tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
