Research and Implementation Lead

Our mental health startup team is looking to hire a talented clinical researcher to plan, coordinate, and execute studies. The position is full-time on-site based in Chicago, IL. As the Research and Implementation Lead, you will oversee the implementation operations of the company. Specifically, this role involves leading the implementation and evaluation of Actualize Therapy’s digital mental health services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct clinical trials, including study design, trial implementation and management, and data collection, as necessary
  • Infuse evidence-based psychological principles into user- and clinician-facing tools and services
  • Present clinical research findings in scientific and industry settings, and explore opportunities to initiate and collaborate on publications
  • Develop and/or maintain department procedures, metrics and key performance indicators to measure operations and improvement targets to support changing business requirements
  • Establish operating practices that ensure scalability and elevate the quality of research content
  • Serve as a thought leader for Actualize Therapy’s perspective on behavioral health management within Primary Care
  • Work with marketing team to create scientifically-based marketing materials 
  • Develop clinical protocols for the care managers providing support to patients.
  • Train and supervise care managers in the provision of support for digital interventions.
  • Work with designers and software developers to create novel, evidence-based digital intervention tools for patients and care managers.
  • Develop and manage relationships with academic institutions for research opportunities

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology, or related field with a focus and desire to work in implementation of digital mental health services. (Masters-level candidates will be considered based on experience).
  • Excellent people management skills, ideally with experience recruiting and training research and clinical staff 
  • Experience supervising others in research and/or clinical activities. 
  • Experience managing research projects and personnel
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Interest in working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
