Research Operations Lead
What you will be doing:
As the Research Operations Lead, you will create operational processes and structures that generate high-quality deliverables and impactful results for Lumere’s Research team. You will be responsible for establishing and continuously improving internal processes, establishing best practices, participating in goal setting, tracking, and reporting, and leading special projects to maximize the efficiency and impact of the research business function. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of Research & Insights, who will partner with this person in determining how to set up the research function for success. Excellent project management, communication, issue resolution and process development skills are required.
The successful candidate will be an effective leader and manager who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and is be able to navigate through the ambiguity and complexity of supporting multiple projects. S/he will also share a passion for developing individuals and teams through coaching and mentorship.
Responsibilities include:
- Establish and execute against process to achieve quarterly objectives/goals, efficiently and consistently
- Ensure an efficient interviewing and hiring process for the research function
- Develop and maintain on-boarding program for new hires
- Take on special projects and analyses necessary to resolve existing challenges, inform changes, develop production strategy, or to implement product improvements
- Participate in the establishment, tracking, and reporting of quarterly and annual goals; measure improvements and the impact of operational changes
- Contribute to strategic discussions regarding structure and operations for the research function
- In partnership with the Director, coach and mentor analysts
- Ensure the team has the tools and workspace to be successful
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an operations lead or project manager for a technology and/or healthcare organization (e.g., pharma, medical device, hospital, clinical research)
- Adept at leading teams to achieved defined outcomes. Passionate about coaching and developing others.
- Have strong technical acumen and ability to help team balance operational trade-offs with impact through a data-driven and highly analytical approach
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Experienced in prioritization across client and internal feedback and requests and balancing resource constraints to deliver the greatest impact for customers & the company.
- Excellent communicator with strong collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels

- Bachelor’s degree is required; experience in Healthcare is preferred
