In this role, you’ll operate as a cross-market analytical consultant to internal stakeholders on critical imperatives including evaluation of clinical programs across desired outcomes, and analysis supporting risk adjustment activity. VillageMD sits in a unique position with the ability to use medical and pharmacy claims, plus ambulatory electronic medical record (EMR) data. As our organization continues to grow, so do the opportunities to develop your skills and gain exposure to different areas of our business and model of care. This person will be a member of our Central Analytics team with a preferred location of Chicago, Illinois. 

What are some examples of projects you’ll be managing as a Senior Analyst, Healthcare Analytics at VillageMD?

• Develop reporting to measure adherence to operational processes across markets
• Perform deep dive analysis to understand who participates in our clinical program(s) today and provide recommendations on how to broaden our impact
• Provide analytics to measure the performance and operational efficiency of quality programs across markets
• Design and execute descriptive and predictive analyses that contribute to population health strategies and development of the Village model

What will make you successful here?

• A desire to be accountable for owning problems from design to implementation
• A bias for action and an aptitude for constructing analysis to solve business problems
• Strong experience SQL and Tableau with a desire to continue to enhance your technical skill set across these tools and others
• Ability to manage initiatives through to fruition while ably handling the ambiguity of an evolving environment

What you might do in your first year:

• Design a cross market Tableau report focused on our care management interventions that measures execution against standard operating procedures and assesses leading indicators of performance
• Evaluate a clinical program across multiple markets using rigorous methodology. Educate stakeholders on findings and educate analyst community on approach.

The following experience is relevant to us:

• 3+ years of full-time experience working in an analytical, reporting or data management role
• Undergrad degree with a concentration in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics or engineering; graduate degree preferred
• Healthcare analytics experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge in SQL and Tableau
