What you will be doing:

As Senior Business Analyst, you will have responsibility for a unique blend of business and data analyses, financial reporting, and strategic projects. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analytics, you will be expected to generate insights about our most pressing business problems and work with multiple business units to translate insight into impact. This role offers significant exposure to Lumere’s senior leadership and the opportunity to develop both breadth and depth in many areas of our rapidly growing business.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly sales and operations metrics for investor materials and internal reports
  • Apply understanding of every business unit’s priorities to identify relevant trends as they relate to company objectives
  • Own short- to mid-term projects involving commercial strategy and operational efficiency
  • Build working models and data analyses
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop conclusions and recommendations
  • Create ongoing reports for team leaders to support execution
  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the company leveraging both data and interpersonal relationships
  • Deliver accurate data for senior leadership upon request and proactively devise solutions
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and insights for teams including Product Management, Client Success and Category Advisory, and Medical Device and Pharmacy Research
  • Maintain business intelligence (BI) infrastructure, working with database administrators when necessary
  • Pursue opportunities to automate reporting and incorporate new datasets

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare or technology organization involving at least two of finance, data analysis, operations, and strategy; alternatively, 3+ years in strategy consulting
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to gain buy-in at multiple organizational levels and roles
  • Can-do attitude; ability to quickly pick up new skills and concepts on the job
  • An “80/20” approach balancing excellent output with awareness of what matters most across an array of responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of SQL plus willingness to dive into complex database structures and pull together data from disparate sources
  • Comfort using Excel and BI tools (e.g. Periscope Data)
  • Passion for understanding and improving the U.S. healthcare system
