What you will do.

The SPINS Product and Technology teams include product development for internal and client-facing applications, data operations, data sourcing, master data, data science, custom reporting, design, engineering, data content quality and compliance. The senior business analyst position reports to the VP of Data Governance and will work across all of the Product and Technology teams to provide in-depth data analysis, process design, and data-driven, business-focused KPIs and controls.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Prototype data cleansing and analysis for new data sources and transformations
• Develop and deploy continuous data quality audits and alerts
• Create new data-driven business-focused KPIs
• Extend the SPINS data asset catalog
• Discover and document data lineage through data pipelines
• Audit compliance to client contracts for data access
• Curate internal knowledge base for industry context, measures and methods

 What You Bring

Education and Experience Requirements

• Prior experience working with data production operations teams
• Prior experience working with reference data teams
• Ability to work with fast-moving Agile or XP software development teams
• High degree of proficiency in data profiling and data exploration
• Prior experience with production operations integration of AI and ML models
• Demonstrated competence in tools such as SQL, data visualization, JSON query
