Office Manager

What projects are you most excited about?

Each day I am excited to build data systems and connections that run while my team sleeps. Then the company is free to plan and work creatively, driving real growth on a steady foundation.

Database Administrator

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

I moved up from customer service to copywriting and learned many important skills since starting my new position. Customer service here taught me how to navigate processes and think on my feet. My current position is teaching me to think more creatively and to look at problems from a different perspective.

How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

I look forward to greeting each team member almost every day. Through team meetings, hallway conversations, one on ones and doorway discussions, I generate energy from my interactions with the team. The close knit connection provides a meaningful and engaging atmosphere. People really care about each other at DCG

John MacEntee

What does your typical day look like?

Project management responsibilities are 10%-15% of my day. Working with SQL/BigQuery and database's infrastructure is around 20%-25% of my day, working with Python for non-modeling tasks is around 20% and working with ML and statistical models around 25% of my time. The rest is dedicated to learning something new!
