We are looking for a dynamic Senior Analyst - Insights and Analytics to join the NowPow Analytics team. The primary responsibility of the position will be to understand and analyze NowPow’s data, conceiving ways the data can bring value and maximize impact to the company and its customers. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for working directly with external customers to create, deliver, and articulate analyses and insights in a meaningful way, drive ROI and other outcome evaluations, support evidence-based interventions and identify pathways for best practices, and more generally creating insights to support important work we’re doing in the SDoH (Social Determinants of Health) space.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the business leaders and managers to understand the organization's data needs and business requirements, to lead the design and execution of data analytics that will serve customers, both internal and external.
• Support analyses and insights for customers and internal business teams
• Provide insights and recommendations on NowPow’s data by building custom visualizations, identifying key data points to use and highlighting areas of opportunity.
• Design documents and analytical tools that assists team members and clients with reports to easily comprehend the data, such as dashboards, statistics, graphs, etc.
• Interpret data, analyze results to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas and methods of improvement
• Identify data-related opportunities for new product development features
• Work closely with Analytics Team (data analysts, data engineers, and data scientists) to innovate and drive ideas to completion
• Monitor performance indicators and success metrics for proposed and existing initiatives, product, and/or services.
• Provide ad-hoc and ongoing reporting and analysis to support areas of focus or specific customer interventions; present results in a clear manner to stakeholders and customers
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to educate and provide decision support with operational

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, required; degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. mathematics, statistics, computer science, or informatics) or social science (e.g. epidemiology, public health, public policy, etc.) strongly preferred
• 2+ years of full-time professional experience in a data-related role • Advanced SQL skills: 1+ year professional experience writing complex SQL queries to pull data and build reports • Solid understanding of relational database structures
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI/Tableau/Looker or plotting in a statistical language such as R (ggplot2) or Python (matplotlib)
• Applied statistics skills, such as statistical testing and regression analyses
• Experience interfacing directly with external customers
• Experience working with healthcare data and familiarity with healthcare IT industry
• Commitment to social impact initiatives and helping underserved communities
