Groupon is looking for a Senior Strategy Analyst - Go To Market to work with the Go-To-Market team take our new, high-profile no-printout cashback product to market. You will be responsible for using data-driven insights to optimize merchandising strategy and deliver on growth targets for the Groupon+ business. The position will work closely with partners in Sales, Product, Merchandising, Marketing, and Finance to understand performance, find opportunities for improvement, and develop plans of action to improve revenue and growth.

You’ll spend time on the following:
Collect, analyze, and evaluate data to understand macro business trends and measure effectiveness of promotions and merchandising levers
Take our no-printout, automatic cashback product to market and ensure product-market fit by working in a tightly coordinated fashion cross-functionally with merchant acquisition, product, finance, marketing, merchandising, brand, and analytics
Track daily business performance through the creation of standard and ad hoc reporting and analyses
Develop insights to identify areas of opportunity, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to take action
Communicate performance trends and analyses to key partners across the organization
Develop and drive execution from key partners against the go-to-market strategy, working with leaders across the company to solidify targeting, messaging hierarchy, branding, media mix, adequate supply coverage & inventory, product requirements, and market launch plans
Develop forecasts/projections for customer acquisition and budgets. Develop and secure the budget to support paid marketing and the “opportunity cost budget” needed to support onsite merchandising efforts; drive alignment with Finance and Revenue Management on the budgets
Champion testing and innovation amongst the marketing channel (e.g., Display, SEM, Email) leaders to support this rare product
Collaborate with key product, engineering, and analytics partners to ensure that our automated marketing systems can support computational/automated marketing for the product
Partner with marketing analytics to identify and implement how we calculate efficiency for this product given differences with how our core business operates
We’re excited about you if you have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics, or similar
4+ years of business analytics experience, preferably in management consulting or e-commerce
Knowledge of SQL/Teradata and Tableau preferred
Advanced Excel experience required
Excited by working with data, measuring performance, and making decisions based on quantitative and/or deductive reasoning
You are a self-starter, fast learner, adaptive to fast-paced working environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability and confidence to succinctly convey complex information to senior management
You’re an analytical decision-maker who is able to see the bigger picture and understand relationships between complex issues when problem solving
You have experience leading and influencing across diverse groups, communicating goals, plans and strategy across all channels
You’re a polished yet scrappy, ambitious self-starter who can handle multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively in a high energy, fast-paced company environment
