What you’ll do:

• Communicate real time trade information from CBOE’s SPX pit to Optiver’s in house trading floor
• Report on Optiver Floor Trader’s decisions and execution
• Analyze and assign importance to floor information cue in order to best enhance Optiver’s trading decisions
• Act as facilitator and intermediary between in house Trading Team and exchange based Floor Traders
• Coordinate information flow amongst Optiver’s Floor Trading Team
• Maintain and update S&P Trading Team’s visualizations and graphics enhancements
• Build skills and trading acumen as Floor Trader Trainee
• Track trading strategies and report on profit and loss results

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• A high aptitude with mathematics
• A working knowledge of financial instruments, trading exchanges and markets
• Solid skills with Windows based software (Excel)
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Lightning quick decision making abilities
• Knowledge of Python and scripting a plus
