Job Description Summary

Every day, thousands of repair facilities use CCC to process their estimates and manage their shop’s workflow. In fact, majority of all U.S. auto repair estimates are processed by CCC. By tapping into the CCC Parts network, you can meet collision repairers where they work by embedding your parts inventory into their shop software—greatly increasing opportunities to sell parts and foster buyer relationships. We are looking for a SQL Engineer to join the parts team here in our Chicago Headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in data engineering space and augment the skills to the next level. CCC Parts SQL Engineer will design and develop ETL, procedures, function and packages according to project requirements. This individual leverages their knowledge of analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of software applications to develop, enhance, and modify CCC Parts applications. SQL Engineer works with the technical lead, other developers, and QA analysts to assist with the conceptualization of software solutions from the unit level through the integrated application level.

• Prepare clear support documentation for operations and support personnel
• Follow established best practices for code documentation and SVN version control
• Participate in daily stand ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, data analytics, data engineering or equivalent job experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access)
• Prior experience in building efficient SQL queries and ETL pipelines
• Basic knowledge of Unix scripts
• Experience with Pentaho a plus
