Job Duties
Lead implementation and scaling of vision and estimation algorithms.
Work with data scientists and software architects to deliver deployable Artificial Intelligence (AI) software, and streamline processing and workload.
Research and work on state of art algorithms in deep learning and computer vision algorithms, and signal and image processing.
Structure data into clean and readable forms using advanced analytical models to predict and classify data.
Design experiments to test hypotheses, develop and compare models on images and videos, generate insights and build solutions that meet the target metrics specified by business requirements.
Create Data Science visualization apps and training models.
Provide technical leadership to junior members.
Technical Environment: machine learning, computer vision, deep learning for object and motion detection, image classification and segmentation, 3D modeling, 3D computer vision, camera calibration, image synthesis; modeling and analysis using big data (structure and unstructured data sets); neural networks for computer vision applications; Signal/Image processing, mathematical modeling, probability and statistics, Python, numpy, scikit-learn, pandas, matplotlib, regex; Caffe, TensorFlow, Keras, OpenCV, VTK, VISP; git, blender, Streamlit, PyTorch, Linux systems.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or any Engineering field plus three years of experience in the job offered or with Data Science required.
Required skills: Experience with machine learning, computer vision, deep learning for object and motion detection, image classification and segmentation, 3D modeling, 3D computer vision, camera calibration, image synthesis; modeling and analysis using big data (structured and unstructured data sets); developing and implementing neural networks for computer vision applications; signal/image processing, mathematical modeling, probability and statistics, hands-on experience with Python, numpy, scikit-learn, pandas, matplotlib, regex; Caffe, TensorFlow, Keras, OpenCV, VTK, VISP; git, blender.
