As a Technical Business Analyst on the re-platforming team, you will be working with both our IBM iSeries team and our re-platforming teams, providing the teams with analysis of our current data and functionality, working with Product on requirements for our new state of the art platform in AWS. You will work with the iSeries team members to gain a deep understanding of the data involved in making the new system the owner of all the major data sets and functionality.

What you'll do with us:

  • Understand and document iSeries programs and DB2 table structure and data flows
  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of the software application functionality, workflow processes, and system integrations
  • Work with the business to define and document requirements and develop use case scenarios preferably in Gherkin language format
  • Identify current and future state business processes
  • Understand and embrace Agile/Lean software development processes
  • Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
  • Create elements of new system design, data structures, business rules, wireframes, or other requirement deliverables
  • Coordinate, facilitate and recap meetings with local and remote tech groups, and stakeholders
  • Participate in the development of documentation and training for new systems.
  • Work with the business to define the reporting needs of the new system
  • Adapt to changing business needs quickly and efficiently
  • Manage complex technical projects across multiple areas

What you've done:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar experience
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience as a Technical BA
  • Experience working with IBM iSeries systems
  • Able to coordinate work between multiple groups
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Able to context switch and work on several projects at the same time
  • Experience working with Jira or other similar ticketing systems
  • Proactive, results-oriented, self-motivated, and goal-driven
  • Deep understanding of MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and how to derive MVP from business requests
  • Demonstrated ability in process mapping, workflow analysis, and data modeling
