About the position

Showpad will make your sales team stand out. It connects them with the content they need, and helps them deliver amazing buying experiences that delight customers and differentiate them from the competition. Showpad is looking for a multi-disciplined top-notch designer with an outstanding portfolio to join our company.

As a designer at Showpad, your responsibility will be to create designs inside our platform for our customers and prospects. We are looking for a designer who is talented, driven and passionate. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn at every stage of the lifecycle, from brainstorming creative concepts with the team, to developing original concepts, all the way to launch. We want you to collaborate with the Customer Success and Sales team and help shape Showpad’s overall design perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-sales:

• Work closely with the Sales team to quickly brand trial/POC instances of the Showpad application
• Review a customer’s website or corporate style guide to bring brand to life on Showpad’s mobile and web application
• Deliver 8-16 icons and 1-4 lightweight background images with a 24 hour turnaround
• Create visually appealing mock up based upon specific design guidelines
• You understand that a successful polished design is a tool to achieve sales goals, like increased customer understanding and increasing sales.

Post-sales - Implementation Phase:

• Work closely with the Customer Success team in the development of wireframes, and based on that, you will create the required design elements, update or even create User Experience Guides.
• Create a suite of icons that match a customer’s corporate style guide
• Create lightweight background images using the customer’s corporate style guide
• Write up image guidelines for customer’s future use if they shift their branding or want to create additional icons for an existing instance. These guidelines would include dimension and image type recommendations among other things.
• Maintaining, updating and re-creating graphics, layout for customer channels
• Responsible for ensuring our design vision is maintained and deliverables are completed on the requested deadline.
• You will assist the whole Showpad organization with design projects at an ad-hoc basis.

 Skills we are looking for:

• 2-3+ years of experience doing graphic design
• Ability to turn around projects within a 24-48 hour period; typical delivery is 3 days
• Ability to create graphics based upon customer websites & design guidelines
• Strong graphic design skills with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Solid understanding of web design best practices, responsive design, information hierarchy, graphics creation
• Strong conceptual thinking skills
• The confidence and skill to communicate your ideas clearly
• The ability to taking ownership and be motivational
• The ability to work as a team with other designers, developers and different functional areas within the company
• Knowledge in digital art and illustration, comfortable drawing custom vector graphics
• Knowledge in presentation templates such as PPT, Keynote, and Google Slides
• A solid portfolio that you are proud of to share with us is a MUST
• Desired: Design experience working with iOS applications
• Desired: Familiarity with Android & Windows operating systems
