About the position:
The Director, UX, is a leadership role that will focus on delivering world-class products and services that drive customer adoption, loyalty, and business results. They will advocate a design-thinking approach, which focuses on customer empathy, engagement, design, and innovation. Their experience spans SaaS, web applications, product design, information experience, and business process reinvention. They can build an engaging and inspired global team and can help bring our 3-legged stool methodologies to practice.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating a product vision and strategy to address ongoing market demands
  • Partnering with key stakeholders across multiple disciplines to help direct the ideation, creation, and development of new products, as well as the expansion and improvement of existing products.
  • Communicating and socializing the UX vision to internal, customer, and industry analyst stakeholders in ways that drives excitement, support, and understanding.
  • Championing user-centered research and design principles from concept to launch; persona research and development through UX ideation, testing, and specification.
  • Leading and growing a global team – managing, mentoring, providing direction and building a best-in-class design team across multiple time zones to ensure their success and development.
  • Developing and monitoring KPIs to assess product performance, find solutions to ensure targets are achieved, and drive user adoption.

  • Providing organizational leadership (including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management) across the UX areas
  • Partnering in developing and carrying out long-term UX strategic vision for the organization
  • Championing and evangelizing the UX vision
  • Growing, scaling and leading a high performing product experience team
  • Driving operational rigor, applying best practices and processes through rapid organizational growth
  • Maintaining a high delivery and standards bar
  • Driving product culture so every team member deeply cares about recruiting, and delighting our customers
  • Working directly with customers to sponsor their success and prioritize their needs
  • Partnering closely with the broader Dev executive team (int question)
  • Developing organizational strategy and roadmap for UX functional areas and capabilities
  • Championing the adoption of UI standards and design patterns on all practices of enterprise integrations
  • Identifying and executing opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of value delivery of customer

What you will bring to our team:

  • 8-10+ years of UX experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • People management experience preferred
  • Experience working with and influencing small- to-medium-sized global teams
  • Significant experience designing and delivering world-class cloud-based SaaS experiences
  • User-centric design approach that involves rapid testing and iteration of designs
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and collaborative role spanning several teams outside of the product and design organization.
  • Experience with generative and evaluative research methods combo: Experience using data and primary research to inform solution design and build internal business understanding
  • Ability to use prototyping engineer(s) and tools to convey design intent
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities on concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to be a UX advocate and communicate with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience leading change management and challenging of the status quo
  • Proven track record working closely with customers and industry analysts.
