CDK Global – a leading global provider of automotive services and technology – is looking for an experienced front end developer to help us build and grow our “SocialSuite” automotive Facebook advertising product. Your work will have a direct impact on the success and growth of the product. This position is based in downtown Chicago.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Use comprehensive knowledge of front end web technologies to translate Photoshop and workflow designs into working interactive consumer facing experiences
• Build and optimize advertising platform UI/UX
• Build reports and APIs to view Facebook advertising performance
• Contribute to real, client facing platforms that serve thousands of dealers
• Build and optimize mobile car shopping experiences
• If skilled in backend technologies, there will be development work there as well

Qualifications:

• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within moving deadlines
• 4 year degree in CS or at least 2 years of working experience
• Expert in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of PHP or comparable server side language
• Understanding of MySQL or other relation databases
• Basic understanding of Linux command line
• Basic knowledge of git/github

• Experience with Google Analytics integrations
• Ubuntu and or NGINX server administration
