Job Description:

Open Data Group is looking for someone to lead the development of multiple GUI based applications that interact with FastScore, a Docker/microservices based product.  The ideal candidate will be capable of working with a distributed team of engineers to do everything from fixing bugs in the existing GUI products, to leading the architecture and development of new GUI-based services.

While customers typically have strong requirements around security and reliability, many are still in the early phases of developing process and requirements around Docker, microservices in general, and analytics ops in particular.  As such, this position offers an opportunity to be a part of the team that is working to set industry wide standards in many of these areas.

This is a growing, but still small team.  Hence there is an opportunity to step in and make a big impact early on.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, design documents, and API specifications
• Add features to the existing suite of services
• Lead the development and integration of new GUI services into the FastScore product
• Provide insight/oversight into the QA process around the various GUI services

Qualifications:

• Most possess extensive knowledge and understanding of techniques and frameworks for developing in-browser GUI applications
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of REST APIs is a must
• Experience with Docker is preferred
• Experience with AWS is preferred

Experience/Education:

Education: BS/MS degree in Software design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
