 NECESSARY SKILLS:

This role is in our Software and Services group working on amazing software products for gamers. Check out our new platform that you will help build: https://steelseries.com/gg/ As a product manager, you would shape the vision, strategy, roadmap and execution of products on our SteelSeries:GG platform.

- 8+ years experience in the field of product design, preferable in consumer software and/or gaming
- Demonstrated experience bringing products to market
- Highly motivated and goal-orientated individual that is able to work independently
- Bring deep experience in at least one of the following facets of design: User research, service design, interaction design or visual design
- Experience working in agile software delivery
- Growth mindset: Your enthusiasm to be curious, learn and grow has you continue to develop your craft and find new ways to be awesome

WITHIN 1 MONTH YOU WILL:

- Iterate on some visual design and release software to millions of gamers
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product designers, product managers, and stakeholders globally
- Gather all the user research through the variety of feedback channels

WITHIN 3 MONTHS YOU WILL:

- Develop product experiments, perform ethnographic research, iterate on UI wireframes, build prototypes, and deliver design assets
- Empathize with our gamers through conducting a bunch of user interviews and other research methods
- Synthesize user research into meaningful actionable insights
- Prioritize user problems on product roadmaps
- Collaborate with the the design team building a shared design system and library
WITHIN 9 MONTHS YOU WILL:

- Shape how we consider product design at SteelSeries
- Mentor product designers in your craft
- Run more product experiments that you have ever done
