Production Artist Coordinator

As a Production Artist/Coordinator you will create and coordinate the production of final artwork, including; mechanical keyline creation, vector art manipulation and creative layouts. The coordination of this end to end process should result in studio building files accurately according to creative intent and vendor specifications
Responsibilities
Manages day-to-day client relationships by serving as the studio lead and liaison between various internal teams
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure the project requirements, scope, and deliverables are clearly understood
- Ensure smooth movement of samples through the Studio Production teams, with respect to deadlines, quality and accuracy.
- Coordinate all art elements from various sources, which would include Art Director’s files, artwork from retouchers, illustrators, coy from Writers and printing specifications from Print Production and outside vendors.
- Build digital Art files (Keylines) from all art elements including Art director’s files and printing specifications.
- Prepare and check files for accuracy and correct file building before submitting to team members, Client and ultimately the Printer.
- Continually meet and communicate with team members throughout a project to make additional changes and to receive new elements as the project progresses.
- Maintain a highly efficient and organized system of paperwork within the department’s project management and approval software
- Master and champion TMS file building standards and production workflows.
- Communicate with outside vendors for artwork release and trouble shoot files.
- Review proofs and judge color
Desired Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience
- experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with project management and workflow systems
- Must be highly detail oriented in work and communication
- Ability to maintain timelines, priorities and organize work
- Positive attitude and ability to work and succeed in a team environment
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and editing skills.
