Market Track is growing our global talent culture and is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop solutions impacting the on-boarding, career development and management development programs. The role will report to the Manager of Talent Development and be responsible for supporting business objectives for our global footprint of employees and managers. Our footprint extends into multiple US markets, as well as the international markets of Canada, Jamaica, India, Philippines, and Australia.

We are seeking a professional, creative and articulate Instructional Designer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and excels in effective transfer of training into performance results. As an instructional designer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing and developing high quality training content for sales, technical and managerial learning programs. The goal of all programs designed will be to deliver a world-class learning experience and drive a positive, lasting business impact.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop highly engaging and interactive training materials, and deliver engaging presentations to business leaders.
  • Apply advanced adult learning theories into a practical, application-based training strategy;
  • Design training utilizing experiential blended learning methods that will support the acceleration of learning as measured by business performance.
  • Utilize project management tools and skills to manage medium to large scale content development projects
  • Collaborate with partner consultants, subject matter experts (SMEs), and managers across sales and support teams to provide consulting to effectively develop training content.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new learning models and content design templates.
  • May need to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience developing and delivering corporate training solutions in a multi unit organization. 

The successful candidate will need:

  • Instructional design experience of at least 3 years or more, preferable in development of sales and/or service training.
  • Experience with technical customer service organizations.
  • Strong proficiency in industry standard design software (Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate etc)
  • Ability to apply concepts, techniques and theory of other disciplines to instructional design assessment strategies.
  • Proven experience designing, developing and delivering emerging learning solutions including hands on experience in the design and development of blended learning solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage medium to large scale programs while working cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders. Gathers requirements from stakeholders to create and innovate multiple concurrent medium to large learning projects.
  • Degree or certification in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Adult Learning or Teaching is strongly desired.
  • Undergraduate degree in communication, education, design, or related field (or a technical field).
