Senior UX Developers are experts at building front-ends of enterprise class eCommerce solutions. Their focus is the development of rich user experiences.   

Collaborating with UI Designers and Back-End Developers throughout project life cycles, Senior UX Developers provide leadership on project teams in designing and building front-ends of B2C and B2B eCommerce solutions. 

Duties and Responsibilities  

• Provide leadership and guidance of UX Developers 
• Deliver high quality front-end code based on Wireframes and UI Prototypes 
• Drive best-practice coding standards across UX Developers 
• Contribute to the development of end-user Personas 
• Understand functional process flows and design user flows 
• Collaborate with Back-End Developers 
• Estimate Level of Effort for specific project deliverables 
• Participate and support the creation, communication and execution of project timelines 
• Support project teams in achieving quality assurance goals 
• Keep up to date on new tools, trends and workflows   

Qualifications

• An accredited four-year degree in Interactive Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management or equivalent major required 
• Experience developing mobile-friendly, responsive websites required 
• Experience developing eCommerce functionality required 
• Understanding of industry standards (W3c) and best practices required 
• Familiarity with W3c Accessibilility standards preferred 
• Bootstrap and other modern JavaScript frameworks required 
• Understanding of browser and device compatibility required 
• Familiarity with version control systems is required (GIT) 
• Proficiency in JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, LESS, SASS required
• Profciency in Node.js, Gulp, GIT, and React.js 
• Proficency in Bitbucket,  GitLab, or Github 
• Communications skills and ability to work in a team is required 
• Solid creative aptitude required 
• Understanding of agile methodology preferred 
• Experience with prototyping software e.g. Invision, Sketch or Adobe Products is required 
• Experience with software development methodologies required 
• Experience with Confluence/JIRA or other software collaboration tools is preferred 
• Proficiency in office productivity tools required 
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required 
• Must be fluent in English 
• Must have current authorization to work in the United States on other than a non-immigrant visa 

Travel

10% travel flexibility; candidate should be comfortable with travel and overtime needs as required.
