We can’t necessarily shake up the industry (because of regulations), but we sure can shake up the experience. And we will. What you might not love:

• We’re right by O’Hare — convenient if you need to escape quickly but yeah. Corporate park. (Remember, though, only 2 days a week.) But there’s this freakishly odd middle-of-nowhere square with artificial turf, a bandstand, a few pretty decent bars, and an indoor skydive facility

What you’ll do: 

• Advocate for what users want, need, and expect from the products we create, while always constantly challenging the definition of a good user experience
• Make the complex clear
• Design creative for responsive websites, and eventually apps on iOS and Android
• Create user flow charts
• Prototype web designs and user flows
• Iterate on design concepts to continually improve user interface
• Collaborate with creative team, marketing team, developers, QA and product owners
• Conduct layout adjustment based on usertesting feedback
• Identify and execute on the best methods for user research and testing within client constraints
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, mockups, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
• Monitor and have knowledge of wider industry UX trends and relevant technology trends
   

What’s your deal: 

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors degree in related field and 5-7 years experience in a consulting or in-house environment or equivalent
• Ability to make complex marketing programs and products look simple
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and design presentation skills
• Prior experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
• Prior exposure to UX research, including planning, designing, and facilitating user sessions and client workshops, analyzing findings, and articulating results
• Experience with modern design tools like Sketch, Axure, Principle, Framer, and InVision

Preferred experience:

• Bonus if you have experience with conversational UI, augmented, virtual or mixed reality, motion design

Regular responsibilities of this role require that the incumbent reports work at the IMC onsite office location in Rosemont, IL office 2-3 days a week as needed.
