Overview

The Senior Art Director is responsible for concepting and executing advertising in a variety of direct response media, including direct mail, digital, print and broadcast. The chosen candidate will be expected to execute on strategies developed by the Creative Director and/or Associate Creative Director. The Senior Art Director must be able to present concepts to the Creative Director and/or Associate Creative Director, provide rationale for their creative decisions and demonstrate how concepts will drive conversions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop direct mail concepts using best practice conversion and direct marketing principles
• Develop advertising concepts for all traditional media, including print and broadcast
• Design and produce email , digital display and infographic-style content
• Review client conversion data on a regular basis and apply findings to your marketing efforts
• Provide written rationales for creative recommendations
• Present concepts directly to client if needed
• Provide printer-ready production art

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an advertising agency or marketing firm
• A demonstrated knowledge of best-practice direct marketing principles
•  Expertise in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Wordpress
• Working knowledge of video production software and Powerpoint a plus
• Must be a deadline-conscious self-starter who can work with minimal direction
• Experience working on Mac computers
