We’re looking for a UX Researcher to join our evolving Research Team at Kalderos. The Research Team team fuels the organization’s understanding of our platform’s stakeholders. We provide the insights and learnings that drive product and service development, and inform decisions that move us closer to our goals.
What Impact You’ll Have:
Shape and Define Our Experiences: You’ll lead impactful and meaningful research projects across Kalderos products and the entire user journey
Manage Research Activities: You’ll partner with cross-functional teammates from design, product, marketing, engineering and customer success to define, plan, and execute tactical and foundational research.
Make Insights Impactful: You’ll make researching findings relevant, impactful, and actionable to teams throughout the organization
Build User Centricity: You’ll help our team continuously identify and learn about current and potential opportunities to better serve our users, inspire product strategy, and encourage design iteration
Scale Our Research Capabilities: You’ll help to define and grow how design research is done at Kalderos. This might include the creation of a methods toolkit, identifying new tools and techniques, or providing support to team members trying to build their research skills.
Redefine Healthcare: You’ll be a key member of our team as we solve the complex challenges in bringing transparency to the drug discount industry!
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in a design research or design-related role
- Experience in a variety of design applications (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote, Figma, InVision)
- Experience applying a human-centered design process to complex problems
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and recommend research methodologies to address business questions
- Ability to facilitate workshops and research activities, both internally and externally, that drive conversations toward desired outcomes
- Experience leading and executing qualitative research (scoping, recruiting, executing)
- Experience leading and executing quantitative research (survey creation/analysis, product analytics)
- Ability to create research stimuli (including prototypes at varying fidelities) or the desire to learn how
- Ability to lead synthesis, develop insights, inspire designs, and inform organizational decisions
- Experience creating compelling assets (e.g. journey maps, service blueprints, user archetypes) to help drive initiatives forward
- Comfort and ability to be flexible in your role
- An openness to critique from team members with a desire to improve yourself and always be learning
- Comfort in navigating ambiguity and driving towards excellent outcomes within a self-directed environment
Set Yourself Apart:
- Experience executing research in an enterprise or B2B organization. Specifically, you’ve led the coordination of communication and research activities with B2B clients and customers.
- Experience within healthcare, healthcare tech, and fintech industries
- An interest in learning about new tools that can help us level up our research capabilities
- You have experience in communicating and demonstrating the value of design research within an organization
- Familiarity building a research repository
- Familiarity with best practices around accessibility and inclusivity in research activities
