You – You’re driven to take motion experience design to the next level, while serving the core user at every level. You work seamlessly with strategy and fellow creatives, while fluidly collaborating with developers and UX.
Responsibilities
What you bring to the role:
- Create motion graphics and imagery that moves a consumer through their journey with highly-engaging, beautifully realized visual experiences
- Ability to communicate and rationalize the use of motion graphics and imagery in solving design/communication challenges
- Exceptional skill creating low and high-fidelity mockups and prototypes to implement your designs to pixel perfection
- Stellar motion and visual design skills (attention to detail, ability to execute brand style guidelines, new patterns)
- Passion and ability to clearly present your work; you are articulate and can advocate design rationale through story telling
- Experience partnering with cross functional teams in launching new products and improvements to existing experiences, features, functionality
- Deep understanding of design principals and industry trends
- Readily give and receive constructive feedback
**Must have mobile app experience and a strong understanding of UI.
Desired Skills & Experience
- You have designed and launched a variety of mobile applications with significant motion graphic components
- Degree in Motion Graphic Design, Visual Effects, Visual Design or related field
- 3+ years of motion graphic design at a creative agency or studio
- 2-3+ years shipping mobile app experiences with portfolio demonstrating strong interaction/ motion design capabilities
- Experience and comfort with agile design sprints and production windows
- Commanding knowledge of mobile app best practices across Android and iOS
- Strong understanding of user-centered design practices, detailed interaction design, rapid ideation tools and agile process
- Expertise in After Effects, Maya/C4D, InVision, Sketch and interest in the new set of rapid design tools
- Strong comfort level with communicating best-in-class interaction/ motion experience design
- Bonus points for past work on large-scale consumer apps or engagement based apps
