More Gold Tech is looking for a passionate User Experience Design Lead who will grow and lead the MGT Design Team as well as craft the user experience of our projects.  This is an opportunity to build and run a team at a rapidly growing company.  Our ideal candidate has experience in multiple design practice areas, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and is excited and motivated by the idea of being part of building a company.  The design team will own multiple practice areas including content strategy, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, usability testing as well as take an active involvement in business discovery and analysis, client demos, and providing guidance to the development team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure a high quality of work from the design team 
• Identify operational improvements in efficiency and structure and increase the value of the design team
• Successfully interpret business strategy into user experience solutions in collaboration with client, product and tech teams
• Define scope of effort for design
• Actively manage multiple concurrent user experience design projects
• Proactively identify and resolve user experience design issues prior to development. 
• Work effectively within technical, creative, and budgetary constraints
• Facilitate client discovery and design workshops
• Design usable and compelling interactions for websites, mobile applications, native applications, and more

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• You are someone who wants to influence your own development and the culture of an organization
• Track record of successfully leading and managing complex project engagements
• Proven track record in project and people management. Must be able to function as a project leader and individual contributor
• Experience hiring, mentoring and successfully leading talented people
• Hands-on experience of a designing for a variety of digital touch-points
• Significant depth of experience across user experience practice areas
• Ability to shift priorities across or within projects
• Can communicate clearly and concisely 
• Ability to facilitate client interactions
• Portfolio showcasing experience in designing digital products and/or services
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (such as Adobe CC, Omnigraffle, Sketch, and InVision) 
• Comfortable creating wireframes, journey maps, UX patterns, user flows

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Five or more years of user experience design for software, Web applications, and other emerging technologies
• Academic background in a related field, such as Design, HCI, Psychology, or commensurate work experience
