We are in the process of launching a document markup tool that fundamentally re-imagines productivity software and sharing, and have an opening for a UX Designer to help us solve complex problems in order to deliver the best possible experience to our users.
As a UX Designer at Branchfire you’ll work on developing UIs for both web and mobile clients. Our users want apps that are fast to learn and fast to use. Going beyond the interface, we expect you to contribute to improving the experience of our products, in concert with our engineers and PMs. Some example responsibilities include:
- Design beautiful interfaces that help our users get work done fast
- Work with our Product Managers, engineers and other designers to understand product requirements and iterate quickly
- Prototype your designs to communicate your ideas to the product team
- Create and maintain UX artifacts (e.g. personas, wireframes)
- Conduct user research to inform design decisions (e.g. usability test, card sorts)
Requirements:
- A degree in design or related experience - show us your portfolio!
- Solid grasp of the fundamentals in IA, IxD and UX Research
- Expertise using popular Adobe Creative Suite applications
- Experience with common prototyping tools (e.g. Balsamiq, Invision, Axure)
Nice to have:
- Web design experience (HTML & CSS)
- Graphic Design experience
- Copywriting skills
