Our ideal candidate

• Formal art and design education or significant professional experience
• 5+ years of visual design experience 
• Experience designing for software, extra points for SaaS
• An ability to efficiently produce elegant, effective, and thoughtful visual graphical assets
• Experience in designing and prototyping animated visuals
• Deep understanding of the functional aspects of color, form, and motion, and an interest in creating universally accessible experiences
• A desire to learn and improve on a daily basis through design sessions, mentorship and reading
• Keen sensibility of modern software ux idoms and trends
• Creativity, courage, empathy and stamina are integral to you as a person and employee

What you'll be doing

• Designing comps for features within Figma.
• Specifying micro-interactions for features for.
• Contributing unified design elements to our products.
• Evaluating off the shelf component libraries on UX quality, adaptability to our.
• Ensuring UX quality within all of our products spanning web and mobile.
• Coordination with product owners to make sure design needs are being met in the current release cycle and against the long term product roadmap.
• Observation of users to notice points of friction along with developing appropriate solutions.
• Collaborative development of UX intensive features with software engineers.
• For larger features , developing clickable prototypes within Figma.
• Occasional creation of illustration or photo assets.
