Allwyn North America is headquartered in Chicago, and currently operates the Illinois Lottery under a private management agreement while seeking other opportunities throughout the U.S. We also provide products and services to lotteries and their players throughout Europe and the United States. the lottery's rightful position as a force for good alongside the State of Illinois.
Position Overview:
The North American Game Developer's primary responsibility will be to assist in the development of Fast Play and E-instant game content in coordination with product managers and game development studios.
Responsibilities:

  • Primary NA point of contact for game development-specific matters (Fast Play and E-instant)
  • Lead conversion efforts of e-instant games from the EUR market to the US market
  • Develop game rules for Fast Play and e-instant games in coordination with local sensitivities and requirements
  • Develop novel e-instant/Fast Play game mechanics
  • Develops prize structure based on customer requirements and product strategy defined by product owners (IL-specific and North American).
  • Aligns with the design team and game development regularly regarding scheduling, forecasting, and ensuring the design is consistent with the product team.
  • Assists with feasibility analysis and development of proprietary game mechanics
  • Assists data analytics team with game-specific analysis
  • Limited interaction with Lottery customers
  • Follow content procedures, guidelines, and standards at all times. This includes responsible gaming, marketing code of conduct, and compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry, technological, and product developments in the content field to drive benefits and operational efficiencies.


Requirements
Qualifications:
Required:

  • Extensive Lottery game experience in the US market
  • Strong understanding of game rules and prize structure development for instant-win style game content
  • Extremely strong organizational skills
  • Expert in Microsoft Office and Google software programs
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems, adding a new and innovative perspective on existing solutions.


Preferred:

  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
  • Experience with Project Management Tools like JIRA, Slack, Monday.com, etc.
  • Experience analyzing game performances in the US market
  • Courage in decision-making and appetite for risk
  • Highly inquisitive and consumer-centric
  • Balance of intuition and data to drive action
  • Accountability, incentives and impact aligned with results
