---What your role will be---
We’re looking for an experienced back-end engineer to help build the core 4Degrees platform. You’ll build and use a versatile set of skills: switching between tasks like optimizing SQL queries, synchronizing activities across servers, hooking up to APIs, and experimenting with web scraping and advanced analytics.

You’ll combine data science with a customer-centric mindset to empower a new level of intelligence for relationship management. We’re building an industry-defining company that requires entirely new approaches; you’ll be a core part of that effort and will be comfortable experimenting, learning, and expanding the scope of what’s possible.

---Skills you’ll need---
- Proficiency with Python, including experience with at least one Python web framework (Django, Flask, Pyramid, etc.)
- Comfort with plain SQL and an ORM
- Comfort writing robust unit test coverage

---We’d be really excited if you are---
- Proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experienced with machine learning and/or statistical analysis
- Experienced with server architecture and administration
- Experienced in architecting a continuous deployment environment
