Position Details:

A passion for technology and it's use to solve business problems in a timely and robust manner.  Ability to work within a cross functional Agile team to develop new components in a highly iterative fashion. Your goals and responsibilities will include:

  • Assess current state of process, tools, CI/CD maturity and propose improvements
  • Develop supporting tools, plugins, services or infrastructure needed to augment automation
  • Work closely with developers and QA with the aim of delivering operationally ready and production quality code within a rapid release cycle
  • Write and maintain automation scripts and related configuration
  • Create and maintain documentation around automation process and solutions
  • Research and recommend new tools and technologies to keep development on the cutting edge
  • Code and Configuration merges and help with Integration with other teams/applications.

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • BS / BA degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CI/CD automation, including design, implementation and support as part of DevOps organization
  • IT knowledge in software development methodologies/processes, design, implementation and documentation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, SaltStack, OpsWorks, CodePipeline
  • Experience with source control tools such as Bitbucket/Git, including branching / versioning strategy
  • Experience assisting developers with development issues related to CM tool use (Check in/out, branching, and tagging)
  • Experience with AWS services – cloudformation, beanstalk, route 53, elb, ecs, ec2, s3, vpc, security groups, Fargate
  • Experience in .NET Framework and .NET Core
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
  • General knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
  • Ability to work within a cross functional team to develop enhancements in a highly iterative fashion.
  • Ability to collaborate with product owners, developers and testers.
  • Ability to perform under minimal supervision on complex assignments.
  • Previous experience as Developer is preferred
