Job Duties

Translate user requirements to detailed analysis documents for systems to solve business problems. Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for development team based on participation in design sessions with users. Analyze operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate and optimize processes and functions. Perform data extraction and validation, define business requirements, design, data mapping using knowledge of full software development lifecycle, and business systems integrations. Create requirements documents, use cases, workflow diagrams, test scripts, support manual materials, and other related documentation. Develop quality assurance and testing guidelines for new software implementation and product enhancements.  Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with customer stakeholders. Perform system testing as needed for new products and production fixes. Troubleshoot and resolve data mapping issues for webservice applications.  Manage small projects or portions of larger projects. Assist in the business process redesign and documentation, as applicable, for new technology. Write implementation guides and technical specifications. Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or with business systems analysis OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or with business systems analysis required.  Required Skills: experience participating in design sessions with users, Use Case Authoring, Workflow Diagramming based on customer and business workflows, Data Dictionary Authoring, project planning, relational databases (SQL Server, SQL Developer, MySQL,); data extraction and validation and providing meaningful metrics; defining business requirements, designing webservices, writing API payloads,; data mapping for webservices and APIs integration; CI/CD, TDD; resolving data mapping mismatches between integrated APIs; Postman, Jmeter, and SOAP UI, ALTOVA XML Spy, SOAP, REST APIs,  XML, JSON; experience with full software development lifecycle, multiple business systems integrations. Excellent communication skills. 20% telecommuting permitted.
