Seeking Cyber Security Engineering Architect who has extensive experience and has strong background in Webservices development , integrations and security with Broadcom /CA /Layer7 API Gateway V 9x 10x . Has experience in the Architecting, Development and testing of software programs and solutions supporting the Information Security program. This position will be part of Security Engineering team.

MAJOR DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Working with Enterprise Architecture, installation, policy configurations ,refactoring ,troubleshooting API Development and security solutions with Broadcom /CA /Layer7 API Gateway.

- Writing and refactoring CA/Layer API Gateway policies for optimal performance and logging.

- Working as Solution Architect & Subject matter expert for Enterprise Data Security team .

- Design, modify, optimize and manage Broadcom CA/Layer7 API Gateway, including deployments for scalability, refactoring policies for performance and seamless migration.

- Deploy and upgrade Broadcom CA/Layer7 API Gateway V9x to 10x on Kubernetes Platform for scalability and Integrations with datastore and backend systems.

- On call Production support, Investigation and resolving errors on major incidents out of hours.

- Design and implement webservices security solutions, throttling, OAuth 2.0, TLS, certificates, KeyStore and trust store also Control access to HTTP APIs with JWT / OAUTH .

- Design and implement Monitoring solutions for Hardware, Platform , and Application ,setup SNMP Event definitions , and Event handling properties.

- Design and implement Datacenter specific network solutions for Broadcom /CA /Layer7 API Gateway architecture in DMZ and Internal zones.

- Develop and Publish public APIs and building integrations to marketplace Broadcom using /CA/Layer 7 APIM .

- Customization of Container Gateway by creating a derived image. Setting up infrastructure on Kubernetes platform.

- Integrating .Net webservices to Layer 7.

- Support integrations with current and future identity and access management solutions with OAM , PING Federate ,Ping Access, Symantec, Okta etc.

- General support of security systems and applications to maintain the availability standard and protect from any outage, performance degradation and vulnerabilities

- Assisting the Implementation of application patches and upgrades; developing quality deliverables including configuration, unit testing, load testing and support documentation .

- API testing using Postman and Soap UI

- Determining operational feasibility by evaluating, analyzing, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposing solutions.

- Collaborating with Architecture organization as needed.

- Design and implement DR strategy for a tabletop session.

- Reviewing documentation, processes or procedures, capacity planning and recommends where automation or improvements can be implemented

- Operating independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit/function; Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

- As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Minimum 10 years Information Technology -Security experience with at least five of those years focused on API Development , API Security , integrations ,Docker , Kubernetes, Microservices Architecture.

- An In-depth understanding of SDLC, Kubernetes, Microservices Architecture, Application Servers , ETL , Database Systems, network management systems, various operating systems , AWS , MS Azure ,Google Cloud Platforms for APIM.

-Experience with HA , DR , load balancing and failover configurations with Broadcom /CA API Gateway

-Experience with Programming and Automation using Java , Python , Bash and working with Microservices and Rest APIs

-Experience in enterprise security architecture and developing reference architecture for security controls to webservices , existing and future integrations.

-Experience with development , testing and integrations of REST , GraphQL , SOAP and XML based APIs .

-Experience with clusterwide Rate limiting , billing and various API developer portals.

- Experience with CICD Tools (Docker ,Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, etc.)

- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required

- Must be highly flexible and adaptable to change

- OPERATING SYSTEMS: Strong skills with Linux and Windows.

A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required.

Product specific Technical Certifications on above required software products and platforms will be added advantage.
