As our DevOps Engineer, you'll handle the building and deployment of multiple commercial software packages to internal and external environments. You'll apply best practices of software configuration management to all projects. You will help define and support a continuous integration and continuous delivery model by automating software build and deployment processes. You will maintain the version control system (branching model, security, etc.) and build plans and scripts. The ideal candidate for this role is a tech-savvy, experienced professional with a positive attitude who will continuously strive to improve and automate our build and release processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete ownership of code management and build processes in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Manage installations, scripts, and patches for multiple software packages
• Participate in the continuing development and implementation of a CI/CD environment
• Building and packaging of Web, client-server, and desktop application deployments
• Perform software branching activities for each release cycle
• Design, document, implement, and maintain scripts to enhance build/release processes
• Implement and maintain automated Build/Deploy processes using GIT, Bitbucket, Bamboo, InstallShield, and WIX toolsets

Qualifications:

• College degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related discipline
• 5+ years' experience as a software application Build Manager or Release Engineer
• 3+ years of GIT Bitbucket and Bamboo experience, preferably in a Linux environment
• Solid experience in build/release activities using scripts/automation in a SCRUM model
• Thorough Knowledge of CM/Build concepts (branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.)
• Very detail-oriented with a high level of attention to quality at every level
• Web, client-server, and desktop deployment experience preferred
