Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field plus five years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer or Manager or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any Engineering field plus seven years of progressive experience in the job offered or as a software engineer or manager required. Required Skills: Experience overseeing, directing, coaching a staff of software development professionals, talking with customers on software and database issues to understand their requirement and creating skills to build use cases for collision estimating software products for insurance appraisers, building reports for predictive analysis; work across different teams (workflow development, customer facing application development, multiple operations team) to manage and deliver the products for better transition after software product delivery and achieve smooth support; building frameworks to promote automation; working strategically and tactically (holistic approach focusing on long-term goals); operating cloud-based technologies, RDBMS, Hadoop/NoSQL, J2EE, Java, Javascript, JDBC, XML, EJB, JMS, Webservices, Ant Scripting, Agile, providing high level technical designs for high volume scalable architecture for external facing B2B products/platform built from scratch, and with Oracle, Database Design, ETL, UNIX shell scripting.
