Custom web development is a main service Bounteous provides to its clients. This position will be responsible for taking projects through the entire life cycle. You will tackle problems and resolve complex issues for some of the largest eCommerce companies on the Internet. Working in a distributed environment, one must be able to be proactive and reach out to co-workers and clients on a regular basis. 
Our Drupal Team is growing, and there is a ton of opportunity for individuals to add value! We have multiple roles available within the front as well as backend space. These developers will interface with our clients and set the bar for future teams at Bounteous. 


  • Deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and approaches 
  • Cutting-edge grasp of SEO-friendly practices and Google Analytics 
  • Insight to test-driven development and Agile development practices 
  • Ability to get things done without being micromanaged 
  • Top-notch written and oral communication skills 
  • Technical proficiency to accurately document code 
  • Tailor messages and understand your audience 
  • Actively participate in client meetings, professionally and expertly 
  • Experienced in building mobile, tablet implementations, and/or sophisticated web Enjoyment from both teaching and learning from others 
  • Deep desire to work hard and love what you're building 
  • Require minimal supervision and provide oversight for assigned projects 
  • The willingness to periodically travel to client locations 
  • Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites
  • Understanding of the entire software development process, including: design, development and deployment (back end knowledge is a plus) 
  • Used best practice version control methodologies and tools such as Git or SVN 
  • Ability to work fast with attention to detail within a fast-paced work environment with hard deadlines 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a 2- or 4-year degree in CS/Engineering, be a bootcamp grad, or be self-taught with practical experience
  • Deep knowledge of Drupal 8, core modules and APIs as well as key contrib modules and Drush
  • Experience with building custom Drupal themes
  • Familiarity with Angular, React, or a similar JS framework
  • Experience in creating custom Drupal modules
  • A proficiency with AJAX and SOAP/RESTful API usage
  • Solid PHP fundamentals and the ability to write and coach developers on how to write clean code
  • Deep SQL database experience (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL)
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a development team on a project from initial architecture through launch
  • Familiarity with project management using Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with Acquia and Pantheon hosting is a plus

Most of our work at Bounteous is team-focused so I spend a lot of time collaborating with my team.
