We are looking for a passionate Engineering Lead to help us take Provi’s distributor experience to the next level. A core part of our offering is providing efficient and effective tools to our distributor partners that allow them to connect and communicate with retailers like never before. The distributor experience team is key to our mission to replace one-off, inefficient ordering processes across the industry.

Engineering Leads at Provi fulfill a hybrid role. We expect the ideal candidate to be as passionate both about mentorship, team performance, and execution as they are about architecture and software quality. Ideally, an Engineering Lead splits their time 60/40% with the majority of their time contributing directly to the success of their team via shipping high quality software and mentoring others along the way.

We are a small group of highly capable engineers who value autonomy, good judgement, and timely execution. We work hard to strike the careful balance of delivering high quality products rapidly that are also well-architected and sustainable long term. Our products

are delivered and evaluated iteratively with a singular focus on finding the very best outcomes for our users and their business.

What you’ll be doing

Leading a team of top engineers on the design and architecture of new green-field systems to support our growth into new market segments.

Working closely with our product team and UI/UX designers to design, implement, and test improved product experiences.

Working directly with the CTO to plan for the technology and staffing needs for your team.

Managing 4-6 software engineers of various levels of experience.

Finding creative solutions to problems at scale in our fast-growing business and leading your team to successful outcomes.

What we are looking for

An experienced leader who has experience delivering high quality software for early and growth stage startups.

Deep experience in full-stack web development, preferably in Ruby on Rails and Svelte. However, specific technology knowledge is less important than a demonstrated ability to deliver.

A passionate technical mentor who knows the value of investing in the next generation of great software engineers.
