About the Role

As the third engineer on the team, you will make mission critical decisions about the platform and ensure that the technology scales as we do.  We make heavy use of the React stack, including Redux, but we are always on the lookout for tools and frameworks that make our lives easier. A solid user and customer experience is at the center of what we do, so expect to spend a lot of time pairing with our design team and other engineers to produce a world class platform. 

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Tackle features from start to finish, starting with discussions with our design and product teams, and ending with pushing ‘merge’
• Work with full stack developers to design our API’s and ensure a secure and enjoyable product
• Actively pair with our design team to better understand upcoming features and estimate complexity
• Instill a culture of outside-of-the-box thinking, exploration, innovation and problem solving within the team
• Create our suite of mobile applications that will compliment our primary web platform

• Passionate about the web and strive to create experiences that rival native apps
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and modern web standards
• Enthusiastic about learning from and teaching the rest of the team
