Position Description

Crowdfind is a software company that builds image-led workflow tools to help organizations better manage their internal processes. We work with some of the world’s largest event producers, stadiums, tourist destinations, and transportation hubs. We are seeking Full Stack Developer to join our team and help build and grow our products.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with development team to implement new software from the ground up
• Document, maintain, and support software functionality
• Work both independently and on a team
• Offer up new ideas, be driven, able to teach others and explain the product
• Take initiative on projects
• Work and communicate well with all other departments (sales, marketing, design)
• Collaborate with account executives to help resolve client issues and requests

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience building large scale web applications
• BS degree in Computer Science, relevant field of study or demonstrable experience equivalency
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Working knowledge/experience with:
  • Ruby on Rails
  • PostgreSQL
  • React Native (and using React Native to build iOS and Android standalone apps)
  • React Native with Expo
  • Javascript
  • HTML/CSS
  • AWS EC2 management, familiarity with AWS’s AutoScaling Groups and CodeDeploy
  • Git and understanding of source control best practices
  • Ember.js (or similar javascript frameworks)
  • CircleCi and familiarity with DevOps best practices
• Experience working with AWS and S3 storage services
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Highly organized and effective project management capabilities.
• Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.

Other Desirable Skills/Qualifications

• Vue.js
• Experience writing tests in RSpec for Ruby on Rails Applications
• Web Security Best Practices using AWS
• WordPress
• Bootstrap
• Experience developing for mobile applications
• Experience with Twilio SMS integration (or similar tools)
