What we are looking for: This role is responsible for leading and building Fast Radius infrastructure and factory network, from business model and factory design to day-to-day project execution. This person will be a core member of our Fulfillment leadership team, and is expected to play a significant role in building, scaling, and leading this capability at Fast Radius.

About the Role:

• Lead Fast Radius teams responsible for scaling manufacturing footprint and microfactory efficiency globally 
• Strategic partner to support company mission of connected network of sustainable microfactories that change the way manufactured goods are distributed globally
• Develop and deploy management processes to ensure project budget and timeline execution 
• Partner with Internal Operations to execute on capacity model to support business objectives and customer production requirements 
• Develop and deploy industrial design rigor to the plant level to improve plant efficiency and reduce cost
• Partner with Product & Software team to build software, implement hardware and deploy technology that connects microfactory network
• Partner with Research and Development to create implementation strategies of new technology capabilities
• Lead environmental, health, safety and sustainability program to promote safe workplace for our employees and reduce impact of our microfactories on the planet
• Day-to-day senior leader responsible for microfactory project management, industrial design, and EH&S 
• Attracting, hiring, growing, and training team Leveraging the Fast Radius culture to build an exceptional working environment for the team

About You:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, construction, manufacturing, or related field
• Track record of significant leadership and people management roles
• Must be a builder - experience building a business, functions, teams, factories, product lines, etc.
• Multi-site management experience
• Demonstrated success with industrial design at high velocity operations
• Expert in lean/continuous improvement tools
• Experience in one or more of the following manufacturing processes: CNC Machining, Additive Manufacturing, or Injection Molding
• Knowledgeable of sustainable building practices, LEED, EPA and OSHA regulations
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize resources across multiple projects
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Empathetic listener, confident communicator
