What will you be doing?

Evolve Security is looking for a Junior Full-Stack Web Developer to build, enhance, and maintain web applications.

In this role, you will utilize a variety of technologies, including Flask Python, Postgres SQL, Vue JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. The candidate must be comfortable working in existing code bases and excited to work on a small, fast-paced, agile team. This position will focus on the design and development of projects that will add to and integrate with our Vulnerability Management Platform, Learning Management System, and Employee Productivity tools.

This is a perfect opportunity for young talent to grow their skills.  Unlike most entry-level roles, this position will involve access to and responsibility for the entire technology stack as well as close interaction with stakeholders to understand not just the “what” but the “why” behind choices made when developing complex enterprise web applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code using software development best practices
• Creating web user interfaces
• Creating and maintaining databases
• Creating back end APIs
• Collaborating with sales and delivery teams to ensure deliverables are met successfully and with customer satisfaction

Preferred Experience & Ambition:

• Computer science or similar degree in technology (or equivalent experience)
• Exposure to web development: hand coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and SQL
• Knowledge of or experience with the Flask and Vue frameworks
• Knowledge of or experience with source control and versioning (Git)
• High degree of motivation and follow-through in order to see projects from start to finish
• Enthusiasm for technology and cybersecurity
• Positive attitude and desire to learn
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
