We primarily transact in fixed income cash, futures and options markets with both actively managed and algorithmic trading strategies. 4170 Trading also owns Grapefruit Trading, which specializes in providing liquidity in cryptocurrencies. The team at 4170 includes members with experience ranging from 2 to 20 years in the industry.
Position Summary
We are seeking a junior C++ software developer that is excited to compete in the challenging financial markets industry. The role will interact and assist with all aspects of our business: senior management, the traders and programmers, and the middle- and back-office. You will learn and help build automated trading systems, back office systems, web interfaces and data analysis while seated on the trading desk.

Can clearly communicate ideas
Excellent at solving problems
Experience with C++ is recommended
Knowledge of Linux operating systems
Familiarity with Python, Javascript, and HTML
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
