Position Summary:

The Junior Software Engineer serves as the software technical interface between NEC Display Solutions and the customer/partner, and is critical in assisting with knowledge transfer, customer onboarding, technical feature design/support, and overall Analytics Learning Platform (ALP) knowledge. The NEC Display Analytics Learning Platform combines the company’s advanced video analytics with its digital signage expertise to make retailers smarter through big data, content management, and delivering relevant, impactful content to customers.

The Junior Software Engineer will work with the partners to develop, understand and connect integrations and features between platforms.  The Professional Services Engineer utilizes a wide array of software and integration skills and technologies to accomplish implementation tasks and overall project objectives.  Skills include enterprise software installation/configuration, scripting, macro/query writing, software troubleshooting/debugging, business analysis, and project management.

• Work with the software development team to assure technical features meet customer and business requirements, aid in the development of the feature road map, and contribute to the strategic long term product plan. 
• Become the technical expert in the software platform.
• Work closely with the overall team to develop the software platform strategy, development plan/cycle, and feature road map.
• Be a technical advisor for the sales organization on the platform and creation of needs-analysis documents. 
• Partner with the Strategic Product Marketing Manager to align feature road maps and integration technologies. 
• Collaborate with customers and third party partners on the integration process, plan and needs assessment.
