THE ROLE


We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer to join our leadership team and manage a team of full-stack engineers. This may have been at a startup, agency, corporation or on your own as a freelancer. Your experience should be forged in a strong work ethic, quality and dedication to your craft.


While we do have a technology stack that we tend to prefer we are polyglots of open source technologies. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience with our go-to stack of Python / Django and React / Redux. Additionally we'd expect familiarity with at least one native mobile runtime. To be clear we're accepting all technology backgrounds.


ABOUT YOU

  • 6-8 years professional experience building full-stack solutions

  • Strong written and verbal communication to clearly communicate intent (both technical and non-technical) in interactions with team members and management

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment

  • Superb problem solver and a high level understanding of code quality, solution design, and general maintainability

  • Ability to consistently and effectively identify problems and communicate feedback to team members in a supportive and constructive manner to achieve demonstrable results

  • Have a sense of humor
