Summary

We are looking for Magento Developer who can help us to build out our large Magento practice. We are seeking a highly organized person who will have the ability to handle many projects, stay cool under fire and embrace all that SCC has to offer. The candidate should have recent and direct experience using the Magento software and solution-oriented thinking.

Basic requirements

• 2 years of Magento experience with certification and/or 3-4 years of Magento experience without certification

• Solid understanding of Magento’s code structure and theming

  Skills & technical requirements

• Experience with PHP object-oriented programming

• Proficient with MySQL-based database concepts

• Familiarity with automated deployment strategies

• aspiration for staying on top of industry trends and technologies

• Understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components

• Strong e-commerce understanding

• Experience in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout

  XML, blocks, and templates

Knowledgeable within PHP, MySQL, Magento, HTML5, CSS

• store catalog (categories/products/attributes)

• sales orders (quotes/orders/invoices/shipments/credits)

• extending Magento extensions

• experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with JavaScript a plus

• Magento certified a plus

• Magento 2.0 experience a plus
